a few months ago it was reported that talkback thames are making a new series of Fun house but it would be an adult version.

On wiki it says in brackets "talkback thames september 2007"

Does this mean that it is currently being filmed?

I believe they were only rumours, and it's now not happening.

I think it sounds a wacky , fun and crazy idea. Come to think of it, it's outrageous it won't be made.

I haven't heard anything about a new series of Fun House being produced. If they are making a new series, Pat Sharp can't be presenting it, as no doubt he will have mentioned it on his Q103 Drivetime show by now.

I think Pat Sharp once mentioned offhand that he MIGHT possibly consider doing an adult version IF someone paid for it AND he was asked AND Sedna was rising in Ophiuchus AND there was a Q in the month... which got taken as "This is DEFINITELY going to happen" by the sort of people who put rather too much stock in wishful thinking. File next to the BBC Krypton Factor revival of 2005 on the "ain't gonna happen" shelf.

Rumours of Fun House returning come round every once in a while as does the supposed Krypton Factor revival which has been "forthcoming" for the last ten years or so. Also in this category: Crystal Maze revival rumours, though to be fair this one might have originated when news broke that Fort Boyard was being made again for Challenge in 2003.
