Friends spin-off "Joey"

Joey and Two and a Half Men starts Sunday 13 February 8-9 p.m.

I was just about to ask when it starts. So thanks.

Can't wait, never usually anything on, on a Sunday at 8pm, so I'll be there, watching Five, at primetime, never thought I'd hear myself say that.

Thank goodness Top Gear has finished (even though the best of is still on).

I also saw another Joey ident this morning, I think it was before the wright stuff, it was Joey at the fridge, he opened the door to see the five logo and then picked up the f I think it was.

EDIT: Just been on before Home & Away, he takes out the letters one by one trying to eat them and puts them back. I wonder if this was part of the deal to get him to make idents. Though they wouldn't have taken much just the letters around the set.

If they were made overseas it would explain how the five is not on the left, though they are still better than some text over the top of Joey!

Another Joey ident just went out on Five - this time Joey takes the word 'Five' from the fridge and starts nibbling on the letter 'i'.

He picks up the F and tries to eat it, yes. after finding out the F isnt edible he tried the I.

It's amazing how much the Five idents have improved since a few months ago.

They've started to show actual trailers for the show now.

"Hi, I am Joey Tribiani and I'm here at the walk of fame. This is where all big dead moviestars are burried "
Joey, starts 13 February at8 on Five.
"Sean Connery? I didn't even know he was ill! "

I'm pretty sure it wasn't Sean Connery mentioned in the promo (available to view on the show's website), but the joke is the same.

The new show is ok. Not great, but ok. The pilot episode was remade after test audiences ciriticed the first version.

They're going to kick the series off with a double bill btw, so I guess we'll have to wait a little bit longer for two and a half men.

Been watching it on RTÉ (missed the pilot though) and it is rather cringeworthy... Scrubs, which follows it, is rather superior (and is possibly the most clever US sitcom at the moment, but that's another thread).

'Joey' Premeired her on New Zealands TV 2 and they used two different traliers to advertise the programme.. one mentioned before and also one where Joey is walking down a street in Hollywood where the stars live and he tells us that he's outside Julia Roberts house, then he turns to walk up the drive and goes.. "Julia Roberts?" Its not actaully its an old women in her dressing gown putting rubish in the wheelie bin. He thens turns around to the camera and says something like. "She looks so different on camera' or something like that. anyway it was quite a funny one.!!! and I was just wondering If they are showing this and if there are any other trailers.?

Yes, we've had that promo in the UK too.
