Well, to all you friends fans, Friends ends on May 28th, the night that Big Brother begins, oh joy. So remember to catch friends, it will be brilliant, and Big Brother? Feel free to miss it, it's supposed to be Channel Fours Super Friday. I don't think I could take Davina screaming and shouting telling us that two housemates will be evicted that night whilst a terroist is put in the house and still some old guy is asleep and doesn't 'want to get involved'. BB has run out of steam, i will of course watch it, but C4 said if this one is crap then thats the end of the UK BB!
What started out as a semi-interesting social experiment has rapidly downgraded to little more than a desperate attempt by Channel 4 to get a couple having sex on screen by ditching the girls-only and boys'only bedroom setup and providing an extra-large shower......
I have to agree Kat I find BB woefully dull now. The first year it was done it was quite gripping viewing and was pretty unique. That they followed it up with a sequel was no surprise. But now we've got the main Big Brother every year without fail, various celebrity editions, reportedly a young person's edition in the pipeline, and of course the various immitations of it on ITV (I'm a celeb, et al). I loved the first year, watched most of the second year, flipped through it on the third year, saw it a couple of time last year, can't honestly say that I intend watching one second of it this year. C4 really are flogging a dead horse now.
Unless Channel 4 break off their contract with Endemol then I'm afraid as well as this year we're going to have it next year!
Annoying isn't it? For 10 weeks E4 will be nothing but Friends and Big Brother.
About time they killed this dead horse of an embarasment of a TV show.
Though I have to disagree about Friends, this Series has been fantastic, Series 9 was dire, but I can tell it will end well, as I have enjoyed the episodes, the earlier ones in this Series were far better, but it has been watchable.

I don't think they'll stop making series of Big Brother until a couple have sex....... so if any of the potential housemates are reading this, please, just do the deed, get it over and done with so more intelligent telly can be put in BB's place......
Dunno if I can take another Big Brother... again 2000 was fantastic, gripping viewing then Channel 4 lost the plot and overcommercialised it, desperate to induce bitching and sex, which nobody actually wanted.
