Children In Need has kinda 'shifted' EastEnders out of the way this Friday on BBC 1 - that means EastEnders viewers will not get an episode this Friday.

It hasn't been moved to BBC 2, nor is it being shown on BBC Choice. I've checked nearly all TV guides, and even Sky Digital listings, and none of them list EastEnders for this Friday.

You'd think the BBC would have the courtesy to show it somehow - I'm not saying they should forget Children In Need this year.

Besides this will happen every November and March on BBC 1 from now on - we have CIN in November and Comic Relief in March.

What are your views on this issue?

It's once a year one year and twice the next so I shouldn't think EastEnders fans are going to be too disappointed!!! 51 out of 52 weeks isn't too bad really.

Comic Relief is every other year - we had Comic Relief this year and the last one before that was 1999

And anyway does it really matter 2 at the most episodes lost a year, with all the amount of specials extended episodes they have on special occasions and when theres a big story line it more than makes up for it

It will probabally be shown as part of CIN. Im suprised no-one thought of that.

The EastEnders usually do a special edition for Comic Relief. A couple of years back it was a version set in 1666.

This year they broke into the sriptwriters office (AKA Mel Smith's) to try and find out who shot Phil. Ironically, just as he was about to say who it was, he got shot himself.

And EastEnders also done a joint venture with Doctor Who, even before that! I'm sure it was CIN but it could have been Comic Relief. Anyway, it was great!

Actually, that thought did cross my mind. My TV guide has listed all the schedules for CIN on Friday night - nowhere is EastEnders mentioned!

Double E fanatics better make the most of tonight's episode - it's the last until Monday.

On a brighter note, it's on 5 times next week (Mon-Fri)

Of course! Why didn't I think of it before!

Friday's 'missing' episode is being shown on Monday, Tuesday on Wednesday and so on right through the week!

Now you mention it sjirvine it all makes sense! Nice one buddy!
