News so far: (updated)
- More4 will air on Freeview.
- The West Wing is moving from E4 to the channel
- Once a month More4 will air a piece of "event television" which embodies the core values of C4, "independence of thought, a delight in taking risks and a passion for the new." He added: "We are already under way with some big pieces which you could not imagine coming from any other broadcaster and which, for a digital channel, are handsomely funded."
- Also in the schedule will be a daily news bulletin aiming to "capitalise on the strengths" of Channel 4 News.
- More4 will feature repeats of Channel 4 shows such as Brat Camp, Dispatches, Body Shock and Jamie's School Dinners.
- ITV4 will not be a morphed version of Men and Motors, but both channels are launching on Freeview.

Have there been any indications about when the More4 bulletin will air?

The only info released is that it'll look at issues more in-depth than C4 News (though if your like me, you turn to C4 News for more in-depth coverage anyhow!).

I can't see them wanting to stick it in the middle of peak-time, while 5.30-8.00pm and after 10pm is pretty much ruled out.

Although it seems unlikely it would air in the hour after C4 News, maybe it could be an "Extra" type programme airing immediately after the bulletin.

The only other slot is early afternoon - around 4pm - and maybe a regular bulletin could work well there!

6.00pm, providing a lead in to the Channel 4 News, I would imagine.

That is, if it's an hour.

I doubt they would do more in-depth before the main programme - I'd be betting for 8-9.30 time slot.

As Brekkie said 8pm could be a kind of *Extra* programme, but maybe they might do a 9pm bulletin - who knows?

There was talk a while ago, which wasn't denied by an insider suggesting that any More4 News Bulletin would be in the afternoon. (2 - 5ish) slot. They sighted the fact that no other newtwork than news channel were broadcasting news at this time.
Anyway it all sounds very good. More 4 is shaping up to be an excellent addition to C/E4

I very much doubt that! More 4 is aimed at a completely different audience ( 35 - over's )
The channel is designed around having serious documentorys and hard-hitting drama (west-wing).

Or maybe Sky One. Although I doubt that.
