It appears that '8' is now just an MHEG caption telling us where all of the Teletext channels have been moved to.
I have to say this re-arrangement has been somewhat low key (for those of us who don't waste hours and hours on the Internet looking at this stuff) as my mum was baffled the other day as she put on 72 thinking it would be Radio 2, but she got CBeebies instead, so I guess it will probably confuse a fair few.

Just thought I'd mention QVC's Active service came to Freeview yesterday. However it was probably just a testing period as it isn't available now.

The Freeview EPG "revamp" really should have been done in stages over a week or so, so messages could be put up on channels that move.
First move the channels that will get new numbers currently unused (Teletext, Adult, Interactive), then the radio channels, then kids and news and finally the mini-shake up of the general section.

It's now been on air a week and a half, is it too much to ask for the EPG to show Sky Three and not Sky Travel ?
Who's responsible for this ?

I thought it was my Pacific box being slow, but glad to see it isn't just me. Is Sky Text still displaying Sky Travel on the change channel option? If it is thats just lazyness on Sky's behalf.

Yes - the change channel option still says Sky Travel, though there is a Sky Three section on Sky Text (p333 I think)
