Freeview Digital Delay

The delay between the Belmont analogue signal on my bedroom telly and the Sky signal on the living room telly is approximately 3 seconds!!

I remember playing with Sky at my friends house a while back and Channel 4 was 5 seconds off between Sky and Analogue.

Channel 4 and ITV1 on DSat add differing delays on the various regional feeds, to aid the statmuxing process. In other words C4S and C4U are delayed slightly (couple of seconds) relative to each other, as are say Meridian and Anglia.

(Yep - C4 has regional feeds on satellite - though only the ads differ)
