His humour is undoubtedly debatable in today's climate, but I still think his Audience With was one of the funniest ever made.

I just went onto Wikipedia to see what had been noted on his page. I was surprised that, whilst there was a joke inserted into the 'Death' section, it was not to do with hamsters, but was a lot ruder.

BBC are now reporting the story.

The hamster thing was fabricated, apparently. Max Clifford made it up for publicity purposes.
I wonder if ITV3 will wheel out the appropriate Audience With episodes, or maybe one of the several occasions where he appeared alongside Des O'Connor. Or would the fact was arrested as part of Yewtree put the dampers on that - don't think he was ever charged though.

Being arrested shouldn't be held against him seeing as nothing came from it.

Indeed Freddie notably was Noel Edmonds's final guest on the final House Party when he shown up at the door unexpected. Not quite sure how happy Noel was with ending the series being shot with foam...

And in recent times he notably told Suzanna Reid to get off his property when he was interviewed on GMB about his recent allegations.

The news broke on BBC North West Tonight but curiously I can't see any reference to the story on the News website.

BBC News website is only just reporting this news.

But it’s still being very overly cautious about it with its use of quotation marks.

It also mentions in the report itself that the BBC have been unable to verify these reports and is quoting The Sun as the source of the story.
