Was just posting about this. Nic Ayling who owns Terrific Television (prod company behind the reboot) owns the identity of Southern Television - so I would guess it very much is.

Also left hand side is a grey 1 Inch VT box I think?

That's not an incarnation of the Southern Star logo, on that mug that I recognise.

But there's also under the red button on the desk, some yellow card with 'Southern ITV' on it.

Yes, on closer inspection it's definitely the Southern logo...

And on even closer inspection, both yellow pieces of paper have Southern Television on them. 🧐
