A great Frank Skinner show tonight featuring publandlord Al Murray and ex hear-say members Myleene Klass and Kym Marsh making up live on air!

Also a great rendition of the Home and Away theme tune at the end.

But more interesting was the blue itv logo used on the clip used of Phil Taylor playing darts!

I can't remember ITV ever showing darts and if they did it was much much earlier than what that logo would suggest?

Well considering the clock is in the same font as The Frank Skinner Show credits, I'd say it was added by Avalon.

Two points:

(a) the show isn't live
(b) Myleene and Kym 'made up' some time ago

...and:

(c) I didn't see the whole thing, but was I the only one who thought there was a certain uneasyness between these two "buddies"?

And while I'm here,

(d) I don't like this revamp they've given the show. It seems much grander and posher than fits the programme - the old, simple titles and set were far more apt.

Even though I hate his singing, I prefer the old style where he came on a and sang the theme tune when the guests were also displayed. It seems so cheesy to say who is coming up at the start of the show. And it seemed to flow easier. The start where he does the stand up bit seems to have lost something. And they have lost his recorded sketch bit, where he used to dress up as people, as the end of the stand up bit he would say "Now that reminds me of something/someone", then the VT clip was played whilst he sat down.

It seems to be as good though with his banter with the guests during the interviews. This has been a comedy chat show night with the kumars at 9:30, graham norton at 10, and frank skinner at 10:30.

Yes it has been a very good night - as Monday's always are now!

Of course Frank Skinner isnt broadcast live but is recorded live!

And Whataday why would Avalon go to the expense of adding that ITV logo to the darts? If it was from the BBC im sure they would be very upset over it! Also the font is only 'similar' and not exact!

If I remember correctly itv did show a darts match one sunday afternoon a couple of years ago, so this could be from then. What I dont get is the time. Isn't darts usually the first one to get to zero that winds, I didn't know there was a time on it!

Its a nice idea to use the text in a blue box, rather than having the itv logo than the time on a yellow box.
