It is indeed. As for Frank Carson, I do remember him from childhood for appearances on programmes such as Celebrity Squares & Noel's House Party. A great comic.

I remember his appearances on Noel's House Party with great affection, especially this moment when Noel got his own back... (from 6 minutes in):



A legend of comedy who won't be forgotten. Goodbye Frank, and thanks for the laughs.

He will be sorely missed by all who loved him. A man of clean jokes and with a clean sense of humour.

RIP Frank Carson.

Also a tireless charity worker-- and by all accounts just as jovial and warm off-stage.
