One of the all time greats ....

A pioneer of Breakfast television. I think he then moved to present LWT's Six O'Clock Show after leaving the BBC when Breakfast Time went all newsy.

Here's the full edition of Breakfast Time on YouTube from 17th January 1983, the first edition.

He managed to make @ partial return with the 6 o’clock show on LWT

Anyone else feel slightly uncomfortable with the focus the obituary on tonight’s Ten gave to Frank Bough’s scandal? I know it happened, and to have not mentioned it at all would have been wrong, but I’m not quite sure they got the tone and emphasis right in the circumstances. It just felt a bit mean-spirited to me.
