In the next franchise battle (And if someone tells me when then I would be greatful) let's make some first person reviews on it,pretending it's just happened.
I'll start:

'I was gutted when I found out UTV didn't make it. 35,000 pounds is a lot,but Irish Network bidding 39,000 pounds had to have the most bring name ever!
So,Carlton's lost out. I knew they would. But they only lost the Midlands! Apparently they failed on their business plan, whatever that was.'

So,anyone else willing? Smile

Can I just say how glad I am that Sky News lost the bid for ITN to America's NFBBC (News & Foxy Boxing Broadcasting Channel) Smile

Don't take this the wrong way but, what's the point?

I am absolutely delighted that Neighbours has been axed, and that the BBC are going to show repeats of Eldorado in its place.

I am delighted that all soaps have been axed and replaced with the slightly more interesting watching paint dry programme - sponsored by Cadbury's Very Happy

And it's nice to see Border being bought out by Scottish and showing some decent coverage of south-west Scotland for a change!

I would just like to say how brilliant it is that Thames has come back to the ITV network to replace Carlton & trhe fact that Carlton television is in £500 million pounds of debt. Also good to see the IBA back instead of the ITC so that we wont have anymore mishaps like we did in 1993:D Very Happy Very Happy
