It would appear that France Télévisions, the PSB of France, will be changing their cross-channel promotions (that's what they're called right?) on Monday from the design they've been using (I think) for the last 2 and a half years. I've always thought the old trailer was impressive but the new ones are superb! Really glossy and modern looking. I just so happens that I stumbled upon this part of their site the other week and that I had a look at next week's trailers, only to see that they'd been changed!
Here's tomorrow's which will be the last of its kind.

Here's Monday's which will be the first of its kind.

You've got to admit, both of these are better than anything used in the UK.

Note that with these new trailers comes an adjusted France Télévisions logo which is now in colour and includes and extra square for France Ó.

Also if you fiddle around with the URL then you can see trailers as far back as September 2005.

Both of them are excellent, though I think I prefer the outgoing one to the new one.

Very subtle, yet flashy all at the same time. Much better than any of the cross promotions here in the UK

Agreed, much better than British pres. Also agree the outgoing one is better.

Love the French names for Family Fortunes and Midsomer Murders!

I love them, very slick.

They may be nice, but TVNZ's are better!

And it appears that the channel box number holder rather than being flat since the introduction all those years ago, now at last appears in that cross-promo to be either 3D'ed with colour grading or have a beveled effect a la Sky News.

Bon. Magnific.

Very fancy, both nice, but the new one is really good.

Apparently (according to the D*****l S*y forums), France 2 is now broadcasting in widescreen on DTT.

And here's a video explaining it.

France 2&3's sites now have the glossy logo up while France Télévisions' main corporate site has their adjusted logo up too.

I have to say them adding a gloss to their logos have made it look much better.
