Yes but chiguy33 is encouraging us to complain via the web when most of us hadn't seen it and therefore were not offended by it. If we should complain about anyone it should be him or the site that reposted the image.

I agree - I think it's an abuse of the regulators' form based communication to comment on something that hasn't been shown. Seeing it first hand is one thing, using a website to witch hunt a channel is another. I'd be very interested to know chiguy33's desire regarding Fox News? Pulled from the UK? Fined?

Now I'm not one to champion generic/official threads but if you wish to continue mentioning events regarding Fox News, which is perfectly fine, it may be better to keep them in one ongoing thread instead?

Cheers, Asa

I pretty certain that ChiGuy is in the States where he doesn't find a very receptive audience for his obsessive anti FOX News stance.
I suspect the audience for FOX News in this country is higher than a lot of detractors would like to believe. Although most people interested in US TV News would probably prefer to have CNN US, CNN Headline News or MSNBC - they watch FOX as it is the only one on offer to us.

I'd be surprised if many people do watch it here - or are even aware of it. I'd assume most stick to N24 or SKY etc.
It's probably only the tv pres junkies - and from the looks of it, even they find it difficult to watch.

I completely agree - it doesn't warrant us getting invovled - but as I hate Fox News so much I'm petty-minded enough to say they deserve it. I ain't claiming the moral high ground here.

Although it depends what time the programme was broadcast. If it was what we would consider past-watershed, it's perhaps not that bad, but if it was at tea-time or something then I'd suggest it's every bit as bad.

By the response posts...I can see the humour behind my initial post was completely misunderstood. I wasnt advocating some large scale protest and strikes and such. It was a just humourous post to show the insanity of the channel. Goodness. I can also see by the posts that most people fail to see the negative impact that Fox is having on journalism as a whole. Try watching Michael Moore's Farenheit 9/11.
I think because they are so critical and vicious of every other newschannel its nice in some small way to say something about them.
For Example - they pitched a fit when SkyNews was attempting to launch in the US. The whole John Gibson/BBC debacle. Their constant beratement of CNN and MSNBC, among other things. Time will tell how SkyNews will be effected. Least we all forget that they have the same parent company. I wonder if the ratings started dropping for SkyNews if we would see a change in tone and direction. Just image the SUN newspaper on telly. That would be something. I know for the most part all of those that responded dislike the channel. But its interesting to see people defending their practices and style of journalism. Interesting indeed.

Dont be so certain about something you have no proof of. Judging by your previous posts you seem bit obsessive about CNBC and Maria Bartiromo.

Excuse me I have posted once about Maria Bartiromo and her taking over a programme which is seen over here on CNBC Europe. We have several people on this Forum who are interested in the doings at CNBC. Compare that to your numerous anti-FOX News threads.
To answer another person post. The item went out just after 21:00 in the UK.
