How the hell am I supposed to know?

American Idol repeats? Although surely ITV2 have first dibs there ...??

They certainly won't be showing any of the current Sky One puchased programmes, beyond that I suppose it's going to be a mish-mash of repeats ...???

I'm probably not in a minority saying this is going to be a pretty bad idea.

It was a rhitorical question. If the new channel doesn't show The Simpsons or Malcolm in th Middle , I'll buy you a beer.

It may be able to show old episodes, but the rights to new episodes have been bought by sky one, they have said that even though they make the programmes, if fox want to screen new episodes in the UK they will have to bid for the UK rights to them, the same as other UK broadcasters do!

If Fox News and Sky News are both owned by the same people, why would they want to rival their own services with their own services, and who was protesting against it? Rupert Murdoch got schitzophrenia?

Except they aren't completely owned by the same people.

Sky is 36% owned by News Corp.
Fox is about 80% owned by News Corp.

There is a major common shareholder, but there is more to the ownership of the channels than that.

Interesting stuff.
So, if Sky is 38% owned by NewsCorp, who owns the rest?

Will this Fox feed be from an actual Fox TV station somewhere in the U.S.? or will it be some sort of a "vanilla" Fox network feed?

It will be the mint flavoured Fox.

Ahem... sorry, no it will be a British version of Fox, not the American version.

Others are reporting that it will be a version of the US fx channel, which is on cable and satellite over there.
