Popular children's characters the Mr Men will return to British TV for the first time in more than a decade.

I'm not sure that that's right - I'm sure I remember seeing old episodes on Channel 5 around 1998 time on Havakazoo!

I just quoted from the news article so could be incorrect. Still 1998 was 9 years ago.

Mysterious Cities of Gold was truly spectacular!!!

What a great show - and like nothing i've ever seen since - I just wish they would bring it back...

In fact we started a campaign on our site to see if there was popular feeling amongst people for this show - it received some response, but not the outpouring of emotion i hoped for... Smile

Yes (any children's show I haven't heard of, you may well ask?)

I have a friend that knows Harry Capehorn from stage school and when they went shopping together, he was verbally abused in the street because of his role as Chloe's attacker in Family Affairs. There are some real idiots out there.

Cosh(ti) Dowden also appeared as a troublemaker from St Joseph's in - wait for it - Grange Hill.

Captain Zep ( Captain Zep Aaah! Super Space Detective! ). I remember the cast appearing on Saturday Superstore and everyone trying out the gel that they used to sweep their hair back in " space age style " . Smile

Oh yes - Captain Zep. Must have been 1983/4 ish?

Anyone remember Dappledown Farm from the early days of Channel 5? Featuring the man who narrated Trumpton (Brian someone?) somewhat older.

And Havakazoo? Fantastic shows then, when Channel 5 still had personality.

A revived version of the TV-am show, as I recall.
