Oh - forgot about Activ8. Remember its predecessors " Stopwatch " and " Move It "? Stopwatch had Paul McDowell as well as copresenters, and Move it had Simon O'Brien and an actress from Grange Hill.
I fondly remember "Move It!". The first series was in summer 1988, at the time I disliked it and thought it was inferior to its predecessor "We Are The Champions". However I enjoyed the 1989 and 1990 series of Move It!
The 1990 series of Move It was the last one ever, and was only about 6 shows in that series. Why was it axed? Does anyone know?
I hated its successor, Activ-8 which first appeared in summer 1991. I think it only had one series, I don't remember it coming back in 1992 or later years.
N.B. We Are The Champions - it had full length series from 1972 to 1987. However the BBC had ONE disabled special of it per year the following few years after 1987.
Activ-8 - if you watched Xchange closely (it's only been off air for a year but had been going since CBBC Channel's inception) there was an Activ-8 sticker on the set.

One of these specials was shown on 7 September 1989, according to that day's Ceefax AM which I watched recently.
Captain Zep ( Captain Zep Aaah! Super Space Detective! ). I remember the cast appearing on Saturday Superstore and everyone trying out the gel that they used to sweep their hair back in " space age style " .
