ITV will be showing a Saturday night programme called either The Premiership' or Premiership Today. Monday Night will have a wrap-up programme called Premiership Parliament.

Sky Sports will retain Super Sunday, MNF, Soccer AM, Goals on Sunday and Soccer Saturday. 90 Minutes with Kirsty Gallacher & Matt Lorenzo replaces the Sports Centre, now on Sky Sports News, with a Friday night preview show. Jimmy Hill will present Sunday Supplement after being under-used since his transfer from the Beeb. Plus, Sky have a new channel Premiership Plus the outlet for PPV football. Coverage will be anchored by Marcus Buckland (who presented the Nationwide programming).

Although we are likely to see the same astons being used by Sky Sports again (there has only been slight alterations in since their introduction in 1998 for widescreen & a font change). Sky Sports Active football though WILL have a new look.

Club TV stations enter a new era this season as they will be allowed to show Premiership action. If their club plays on Saturday, Sunday midnight is the first time footage can be shown and Sunday matches can be shown after 10pm on Monday nights. These matches will be shown as-live mostly. This will be a huge breakthrough, because in the near-future when most clubs have their own TV stations, for the first time EVERY clubs' matches will be shown in full. Until last season only 2 matches a week, on average, were seen in full. This vital addition to the stations will make them more commercially viable & will probably mean their number will increase in teh coming months.
