More fodder for UKTV Gold

With the closure of Granada Plus, I wonder if UKTV Gold will pick up some of the channel's programming.

At the moment the channel just seems to be showing the same comedies again and again. And they are having yet another Carry On weekend.

I think PLUS is staying (Maybe move to 120 on the SKY EPG so ITV2 can be at 118 with ITV2 +1(which is being considered) at 119)

OIC! Fair enough, it would have been a shame if the channel did close.

As a Freeview/Top Up TV Viewers I am already finding the evening schedule on UKTV repetitive. Surely they can unleash more programming.

I suspect that what's being would down is the joint venture, rather than the channel itself.

ITV seem to suggest that 3 will be a mixed repeats rather than an archive channel.

It all seems to still be very much under wraps, perhaps the negotiations are still going on?
