Very interesting Lunchtime Look North today.

Peter handed over to Paul for the weather, and we went to have a look at the Leeds weathercam

(Can be seen at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/england/

And there just happened to be a fly crawling across, at that very instant. Nothing better than live TV Paul said.

After the weather, Peter then said, News just in, Fly finally makes weather slot interesting!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that.

I do think they are the most entertaining pain on regional TV.

Forget Close Up North on BBC TWO, we should have Peter & Paul as a double act, or a round up of the weeks banter Smile

Compared with national news, regional news is very unprofessional.
Some strange reporters on Look North Leeds - look at the names:
John Cundy
Liz Meech
Heidi Ross
Penny Bustin
Sam Wichelow
Kersti Mitchell
Andy Joynson
Len Tingle
Alan Whitehouse

Kersti Mitchell is the worst! Her reports are always on the line of 'is this the cat who stole your washing?'..
need I say more

Talking of dodgy camera's.

During one very stormy evening in the Midlands, the MT backdrop shook like mad and had raindrops on it.

It then appeared to go grey but that was how much rain there was!

It provided a nice link to the weather though Smile

On North West Today at lunchtime, at the end, they play the beat with the very end of the opening titles. Before the video came on, that Audio Bed things appeared that was mentioned a few days/weeks ago - I was made up!
