I've been in plenty thanks, and I can tell you that the most popular clubs around play that sort of music. Venues that play other styles of music are classed as alternative.
This is exactly the point I was making. There are channels aimed at women, men, heterosexuals, black people... I'm sure there are plenty of people in each target audience who don't feel represented.
I'm reminded of the furore Stonewall created when Queer As Folk first aired. They claimed the show didn't represent all gay people's lifestyles. Russell T Davies put a very strong argument across which said that as gay people feel under represented, they're constantly looking for something which represents them. So when something 'gay' comes along, they're dying for it to reflect their lifestyle/tastes.
The fact is, in order to be a successful business, you need to have a target audience. When most people think of gay music, they think of Kylie, Madonna etc, because it's the most popular genre on the scene. Flaunt are just tapping into that market. There's nothing criminal about that, and there are plenty of other channels to cater for other music tastes.

It's similar to something like You are What You Eat or the Heaven or Loose Women... Aimed at women but there will be some men who watch it! A target audience is never ever going to be a perfect fit...so chill.
