As was probably inevitable, Flaunt has just received a "makeover".

Ugh!

Why have these 3 channels been changed so drastically in the past few weeks? I know they were sold by Sky to the owners of Chart Show TV, but the original presentation remained intact for a while. But ugh! What the hell have they done to Flaunt? It's gone from pretty cool (for what it is) to amateurish and cheap looking.

I demand answers!

Apart from Bliss, which replaced The Amp (which was a great channel)

When you said why, why, why I was in agreement...Why do these channels exist? They're awful, just like Channel U that only plays black music.

The three channels were pretty damn good when they first started back in 2003, with The Amp probably being the best IMO, they were there to cater for all tastes really. Though the channels have never really been a success, EMAP's channels have a stronger audience share than those of Sky and Chart Show TV.

Regarding The Amp, as great as it was, it was the least watched out of all three, though I was annoyed when I flipped The Amp on to find it was Bliss, without any warning. Indie (well that kinda thing) doesn't seem to be popular with Music channels than other formats such as R'n'B, Dance, Pop etc, it probably explains why half of Q's airtime was given over to the FHM Channel... Evil or Very Mad Though I've grown on VH2, that's a good channel.

So all gay people like the same music now, do they?

I'm only saying which audience they are aiming for.

Yes, a lot of gay people who go clubbing like the same sort of music. The channel also has gay listings and information.

True, but I still fail to see how music can be classed as 'gay'. I'm not gay and I quite like dance music.

Well at least I don't think I'm gay. Wink

Dunno but I saw back to back Britney yesterday.

IMO Magic TV's "Dancing Queens Week" (aimed at gay audience) is far far better.

Wasn't one of those channels, i forget which one, set up to showcase new unsigned music? I'm sure that's what the promos said. If so that died on its ass pretty quickly didn't it?
