Flashmob - The Opera

If it was broadcast from Sheffield, was it performed at Meadowhall?

I had read a rumour somewhere the new Flashmob was to be broadcast from an unnamed shopping centre in the North.

Yep in the eating area (the Oasis?). Haven't been to Meadowhall in years.

I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the first one, there wasn't the same feeling of spontaneity about it somehow - I think it was because all the flash-mobers were all seated and were too much like an audience, whereas last time people gradually collected around the action.

Still worth watching though!

I imagine the owners of Meadowhall weren't too pleased with the lyrics calling it "meadow hell "! Do people (who dislike vast indoor shopping centres) in Sheffield refer to the place as "Meadowhell" - like some people in the Birmingham area call Merry Hill in Dudley, "Merry Hell"?
