It is a video file, but WMP cant find the codec to view it for me.

You'll need the Xvid codec and then WMP will play it fine.

how very channel 4! love the idents, really puts the itv (and needless to say, the bbc one) idents to shame.

No matter though, from Ashley's vid the junction was indeed very slick and some of the idents look very promising, but I didn't think that much of the Dice ident.

Love the music in the countdown.

Fantastic idents - loved them all. It is very Channel 4, but in a way five got there first, as they started with this type of concept even before Channel 4 did. Plus, it is, in my view, one of the best concepts for an ident. A nice bit of a live action/CGI mix - brilliant.

The junction was very slick and well done.

Channel five have really put themselves at the forefront of "cool" TV presentation, haven't they. They might have learnt from the master, Channel 4, but it shows they know how to create a strong and effective identity.
