five Rebrand

I don't understand people saying how viewers will be confused, or how that it is diluting the brand... or even saying "well what will the call the new channels?" This isn't a renaming of the channel, it's a (rather brave) attempt at making something a bit different for the idents. The five brand will still be very much present.

I think it'll look rather smart, and probably not a great deal different to how it all looks at the moment.

I don't think enough people even WATCH Channel 5 even to notice anything. Apart from the little old grannies watching the matin�e movie before Countdown...

There's a little ident compilation to watch out for just before Prison Break too.

Also before anyone else starts moaning, Five haven't ditched their name from the idents entirely* and there are some cracking ones..namely lightning and skydiving. A couple to watch out for.

* This might not be true. I think I may have got a bit confused with the lightning "live" ident and thinking it said five.

How do you know all that? Have you been planting fake rocks outside five's HQ or something?

I see Prison Break won America's People's Choice Award for favourite new drama ...lets hope it's as good as people are saying! Could do with another 'Lost' to get stuck into!
