I think they look good when there all played together like at 10pm last nite...not sure about them going solo...also think they should have changed the ends of the programme trailers...that was thing that needed changing the most and aint changed since the five brand was launched. I also think the countdown should be used for the news and other big events the channel has.

I think they should use that countdown as a multichannel advert for Five in general. It would certainly turn a few heads! all they'd need would be the same 'film' that they used (with same music) followed by "This is five". Stick it on C4 as well, see how they'd like it!
I hope they give Grey's Anatomy as big a push like they did with Prison Break.

Unfortunately they have. The ratings are no longer shown on screen too, though they are mentioned. Today we had "free" and "rush" before movies. No special branding.
Still no sign of "life", "love" or "fear" yet though...

It appears to be some sort of remix of "Dare" by the Gorillaz.
The Gorillaz seem to do quite good "broadcast music". I think I've heard them on some other programmes (but can't recall where).
Channel 5 in Sweden use a similar logo-forms-out-of-things theme, and they actually had a both a skydiver ident and a sperm ident for several years (I believe they where introduced around 2000 and scrapped last autumn). But I find the British ones more stylish.

"You're watching love...now, the latest fast headlines from the london studios of fear."????
Something along those lines?
Incidentally, someone told me today they were watching "Love" last night. But I'm not sure whether they meant five or a random late-night satellite channel.
"Can we turn over to Fear now?"
