Five presentation

There appeared to be a new ident on five last night at 7:15pm going into Cricket on Five. It was of Flintoff hitting a ball in slo-mo. The word five was used - not a four letter word (I think they're all like that now?)

Has this been used before, and have there been any other programme related idents?

They have been using some idents with the word five on it for some time now.

Indeed there is a speciality ident for Cricket. Audio is the same as 'Rush'.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, thought this was the best place to put it...

It seems like the trails on Five have had a slight makeover. All the days of the week scroll up, and then the day that the programme is airing, stops next to the programme name.

There are also versions for tomorrow and tonight.

Are these new, or am I just being thick?

I believe that they are new, the first one that I saw was for Paul Merton's series. I just hate that they don't do something at the end for the way the five animates onto the screen, its been the same since 2002.

that powerpoint five at the end of the ads has to go..it aint so bad when its at the bottom of the screen but in the middle it looks cheap and tacky

I just want Five to rebrand all together with new logo idents, everything, as the current set is old boring and as you said cheap and tacky.
