I have a feeling it'll be like an early ITV2, showing lots of soaps and talk shows. Sunset Beach will probably make an appearance...

Well I was surprised to see this thread, and then the thought hit me... Here goes the whole ITV4 "saga" again!
I hope if five are planning to launch a channel they have thought this through and don't suddenly decide 6 months down the line to change in into a male channel with kids stuff for downtime...
Sorry, I rant this evening. I suppose this is good news, five branching out an' all! Although I am having ideas of Trisha and House Doctor been broadcast 24 hours a day or even family affairs.... Surprised


They've already given the idea of a kids channel after the successful milkshake strand, see here.

OK, i'm really cunfused now.

When e-mailing five about season 2 of sunset beach showing on their newly proposed wowen's channel they gave me this respunse (rather quickly actually):

We can inform you that we do not have any proposals for a Women's Channel. We can also inform you that we still have no plans on buying series 2 of Sunset Beach, but your interest in the show has been logged.

So was this all a lie or don't they know what they're chatting about?
