We in Hammond Heaven spent many hours receiving respiratory assistance......
You really are a spastic.
There's nowt wrong with the muscle tone of my body thanks - no hypotonia or hypertonia present.....
If you look into the history of the Spastics Society (suggest the book written by the late Richard Dimbleby 'Every Eight Hours'), the term 'spastic' was originally meant as a term of endearment.

Well I was surprised to see this thread, and then the thought hit me... Here goes the whole ITV4 "saga" again!
I hope if five are planning to launch a channel they have thought this through and don't suddenly decide 6 months down the line to change in into a male channel with kids stuff for downtime...
Sorry, I rant this evening. I suppose this is good news, five branching out an' all! Although I am having ideas of Trisha and House Doctor been broadcast 24 hours a day or even family affairs....

It'll most probably be called something like Five Life, which doesn't sound too bad, but could obviously be confused with Five Live - the BBC radio station.

Oi! I like Richard Hammond too. I prefer him on brainiac tho, that's the sort of science i would have loved to do at school hehe.
I cannot stand Trisha Goddard, Jerry Springer or anything that fills the daytime television schedule and i have a horrible feeling that five will follow this sort of scheduleing when aiming their new five women channel humphh!
As i don't consider myself a stereotypical woman i'll stick with the discovery channel and men and motors for now and give five women the benefit of the doubt when it launches.
