Ok guys back to tv as this forum is about tv not school work some of you should be teachers. but is milkshake having a new look next week.

1) Maybe you shouldn't have derailed it by telling other members to stop discussing the new logos until we've seen them broadcast?

2) Maybe you should learn how to write your posts in an accepted form of English. If you can't be bothered to put any effort what-so-ever into making your posts understandable, why shouldn't we decide to value your opinion to the same amount?

<long rant removed Mad>

Asa - we *really* need an ignore user feature. Please please please can we have one. A reputation system would be nice too and might actually help the children learn how to make valuable posts.

Let me explain the joke, they are inferring that you are of school going age, I suspect, you are no older than 13.

or I could have Dyslexia as I siad before and that mixed with autism is not easy to live with so I tell you what lets get back to tv

Yay - the dyslexia excuse appears.

I know several people with dyslexia, but you would never be able to tell that from their online posting. They know that they need to take some extra time to write their posts, and do so. One mate of mine is very severly dyslexic, and the only real time I remember is when I get a hurried text message off him, or if I ask him to read something off a datasheet.

One person I went to school with had very bad MS, to the point of not being able to write at all, and could only use a computer with the aid of a punched metal guard over the keyboard so he could line his finger up with the correct key - his writings were far better than what you come up with.

That said, nobody needs to be perfect, there's probably at least one spelling mistake in this. But currently with you the challenge is to spot the correctly spelled word out of the jumble of letters.

Wait, did somebody say the current pres package was popular ? I thought it was average at best.

I think the current set are quite nice (from July 2009, not the first FIVE batch from October 2008). It's certainly the best that C5 have ever had.

I have Autism, I find that easy enough to live with, I think these things only affect you if you let them.
If you want we can carry this derail on Metropol
**Sorry for derailing**

After spending time looking at the logos I can see what you mean the five star one looks like it should be used on a shopping channel but I think the channel 5 one is ok as it is not just a bold red.

Just how much time did you spend looking at the logos?

I think this sums up my opinions on the "5*" logo.

Actually, part of me is impressed they managed to get nothing to line up. I hadn't noticed till then that the star isn't even level.

Thanks for confirming my suspicion! Urgh. If I watched any more than just The Hotel Inspector on Five I'd be a lot more annoyed.

It would also appear the '5' is somewhat left of centre in the left-hand circle.

Am I the only one who is actually looking forward to seeing how bad the idents / pres are on Monday morning, in a kind of perverse way? If they turn out to be okay, not created in PowerPoint, in the right aspect ratio, and the programme menus don't feature WordArt, I'll be very disappointed.

The stupendous lack of attention to detail shown so far in the logos though does make me think I'll be in for a treat on Monday.
