Must say these are the ugliest logos I've seen for a while

The 5USA one is just about passable - they've just switched the current FIVE logo with 5. I'm guessing it will just be a logo swap on the current presentation, then.

That 5* thing... just what ??!

The one silver lining is that they haven't included the word "Channel" anywhere.

I'm glad they've not changed FiveUSA too much. Still looks a bit clumbsy though.

The only member of the "Channel 5" brand to use the word "Channel" will be Channel 5 itself. 5USA and 5*, I doubt, will be called Channel 5USA or Channel 5*.

I know that. That's how hard I was having to search for a silver lining...

very bad logos!! - five had a good brand with fiver/five usa and a bit of thought had gone into the brand - this has totally ruined the channel's identity

a load of ****!

As if you needed to know, these new logos were designed in house by Northern & Shell. Silver-lining searchers: the new 5* idents will be designed by "Foreign Office", responsible for the fairly decent current Fiver package.

Best of luck to them...

I bet they don't even remaster the FiveUSA idents, just cover it up S2 style.

Is it just me or does the 5* logo look like something(s) rather apt for a Richard Desmond brand?

hope they are black and white on tv.

Not just you. It wouldn't look out of place alongside this http://bit.ly/fk91jl

Also reminds me of the Texaco logo.

Would have been a good logo for Men & Motors!

Except for Five HD, which will probably become Channel 5 HD.
