If you look carefully, it cuts from the VT clock to the studio at -3 seconds, and Matthew starts roughly on time. It's probably a playout error, and they've set the start point of the clip to be 5 seconds too early.

Well it was obvious that would happen from the moment he bought it!

In this case with the new owner, I guess he really wanted to get this new look out (he's already referring to the channel as "Channel Five" on the air) so on-air creative be damned!

That being said, it does take time to get a complete set of new promos, ID's out.

You have to replace every spot, get a new trouble slate/card ready, re-do the website (well it usually helps if you do).

Do we know anything about this "new" show, OK!TV yet/

Who is presenting it, producing it etc...?

The Five News production team at Sky News are producing it...presenters TBA but I hear one is rather well known.

I think that well known will be kate like she will be crossing over to oktv

oh you got to be kidding me, I hope they are not copying the TV5 logo here in the Philippines.

Of course not, they look completely different. I mean there's a different shade of red, a different font and the prefix to the 5 is right-aligned. Also, Channel 5's is less ball-like. I mean, I can barely see any similarities.

TV5's logo looks like a fairly low-rent European Satellite network.

Channel 5's logo looks like a piss-poor mock done in MS Paint. They would have been better just going back to the 1997 logo.

Christ it's deja-vu all over again.
