For those who don't know, Channel 5 Video was a video distributer from the 1980's, I believe they were bought out by Channel 5 TV in 1997, but I am unsure about that.
I'm sure Channel 5 Video became Polygram Video, although feel free to correct me.
Channel 5 Video was always PolyGram as far as I'm aware. They dropped the brand in the late-80s/early-90s.
FiveUSA's presentation is still very young, I can see a basic rebrand there.

After the success in comedy's over the Christmas period (Some Mothers Do 'Ave Em and Terry & June rated rather well) maybe they should re-brand one of their Digital channels and turn it into a comedy channel? They already have Malcolm in the Middle, Joey & other comedies, they could pick up the rights to Friends easily since E4 is dropping that, and as both of their digital channels are on Freeview & G.O.L.D isn't I could picture "5 Comedy" doing quite well.
What does everyone else think?

No, Channel 5 Video has no connection to Channel 5 the TV channel
Five USA won't be too hard to be rebrand either 5 USA or U5A, Fiver is a little harder to rebrand, I wonder if they'll keep the Fiver name as it is for the time being.
I'm sure I read/heard Fiver is to become 5life (again, sort of!).
EDIT: just had a horrible feeling I literally dreamt that.
Can believe that actually. I think Fiver has done as well as could have been hoped in reversing the fortunes of the original, invisible Five Life, though I guess 5r wouldn't really work.
They could have
5ER
or
5er
- pronounced "fiver" they're catchy enough.
Nothing mentioned in that article about Sky producing OK! TV. I wouldn't be surprised if Desmond gets Princess to produce it seeing as new commission The Vanessa Show and The Wright Stuff fill the morning schedule.
It'll be produced by the Five News team from Sky News.
