The Channel 5 Thread

There's absolutely no reason to add the word "Channel" to the logo. It's ridiculous. Channel 4 doesn't do it. BBC News Channel doesn't do it. Mention it in the idents/promos by all means but don't add it to the logo!! It will just look clunky!

Anyone find themselves much more likely to watch programmes on Five now it's being branded "Channel Five"?

I suspect it's just being done on print ads and in it's sister publications in order to promote the station to new audiences. To an OK or Express reader who doesn't watch the channel already calling it 'Channel Five' would probably register better as 'a TV station' than just 'Five'

If your goning to have five news at 11 then your going to need a extra newscaster as natasha wouldant stay that long with her baby thing , the bill probably would not come to five unless it was older series . Live at 5 would be a good Idea


Also going back to why cant you have a live Live from studio five and a live five news at 7 simply move studios .
