What are the freeview channel numbers for the two new Five channels?
I've just scanned and got nothing.
I did the same thing too , though I'll make sure to do so tomorrow. Even Greggles said that ITV Play will be on Ch 31 tomorrow, though he didn't mention rescanning, so people who don't will probably be watching Film4 by accident.
35 might work better for Five than 28 - at least it's got the 5 in. You would have thought that Five would have done a deal with TUTV to get 25 and 26 - unless the channels themselves own the LCN numbers.
ITV4 should have stuck with 30 though - it's easier to remember than 28!
We've had this debate before, but the Freeview EPG is still a complete mess. They've freed up 40-69, but won't split up the entertainment section further.
Now the quiz channels have effectively moved from the end of the "general entertainment" section to the middle of it!
It's bad enough too the general Top Up TV channels are mixed in with the EPG - but understandable, but considering the nature of the Anytime streams - they are not really a channel - they should be placed in the 300's with the BBCi streams and EPG data services.
I wonder if Quiz Call will still say that they're on channel 37 on their downtime loop after the move?
Probably, they didn't seem to notice when they moved to channel 36 so why notice when they move to channel 32?
Anyway the downtime loop on this channel is so far out of date now it's getting silly.
Even the touchtone phone number dialling sound effect used copiously on the channel is at least four numbers out of date.
My box seems to be confused. Over here...
ITV4 has moved to 28
Film4 has moved to 29
E4+1 has moved to 30
32 is labelled ITV4 but showing Quiz Call
34 is still Setanta Sports
35 is ITV Play
36 is labelled FiveLife but showing Quiz Call
I've also got E4+1 on 824
Then if I scroll up from 824 I get ITV Play on 31 and again on 825.
