Maybe he's getting confused because these two channels will be using bandwidth that was previously used for TUTV. I don't know why I'm trying to make excuses, it's there in plain english!

The original info about Five Life and Five US (see start of thread) stated that Five US would launch on Sunday 15th October and Five Life would launch on Monday 16th October.

The launches now appear to be the other way round, i.e. Five Life launching on the Sunday and Five US launching on the Monday.

The dates have now changed the other way around to what was previously announced according to the Five press release:

According to the five.tv websites only fiveUS will be on DSat. The fivelife site only mentions Freeview. Shocked

It looks like that on Freeview Five Life and Five US will be on channel 28 and 29 - these slots have now been freed up by Top Up TV channels.


I wonder if there will be break flashes between each ad on Five Life and Five US like on Five.

... when will we be able to peform a channel search for five life and five us?... and also.... when it was first know of, the channels were going to be part of TOP UP TV... and now it's going to be on Freeview... thats why I was confused...!

The channels were never going to be part of TUTV, although some daft people on DS were making such comments.

Although strangely, the website have now removed any mention of sky and cable and only mention freeview now.
