Five: Christmas Ident discussion

I wonder if that Fiver ident is a sign of things to come. And I think I've only watched Five US once (an episode of Happy Days IIRC), but I guess the American continuity was swiftly dropped.

Noticed that the colours fiver used in the ident are the original colour bar colours from the first five brand.

No, the American announcer lasted quite a while, it must only be recently that it's changed (it's the first time I've noticed it myself).
