I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad that Carlton bought HTV off Granada!

we have the opposite problem here, i'd love to see the old logo accidentally appear on teletext - not to mention on screen (thuogh thats extremely unlikely) - although we have had a glimpse of a central umbrella on central news 25/09/01:

i would happily pay £50 for that umbrella - thuogh i bet it sits on the floor of the OB van, just in case it rains

I saw the program menu before Lookaround tonight for the first time, not bad really and the announcer was from Border (Susanna something I think, former in vision announcer although still reads the news) and not from YTV, good to see Border trying to keep at least some of its regional qualities.

I haven't seen Lee Mckenzie presenting the Border News this week, after she did everything from 6pm Friday to Sunday.

She was like Border TV's combination between Peter Levy and Anne-Marie Tasker!
