I'm looking forward to tomorrow - I think Brucie's great! She has a very slight edge over Williams, though I don't quite know what it is! I dare say Ms Williams will be presenting more often when she is on maternity leave.
What's with Michael Buerk - I hate that jacket. Much prefer Peter.

Yep - Fiona must be back for a month or so before leaving again! Wonder if she's got a tan!!
Oh, and Mr Buerk is far better than Mr Sissons in my opinion - more authoritative, doesn't cough through links and has a sense of humour!!

Nah, I think that Sissons has far more authority, but I like Buerk better - especially when Andy Marr tries to make him laugh. I also like the way he loses control of his neck when he's indicating that Newsnight is now starting 'over on BBC Two'
. I think Phillip Hayton should be bought back to BBC One news, because:

he's a popular face - he did news on One for ages and people liked him
-
he's got so much authority it's scary - it's
that
voice
-
and there's also the fact that he's a bloody good newsreader!

Philip Hayton was good, but probably seen as too authorative in today's news presentation climate! But, yes he is good and is wasted on News24.
Also, have you noticed that Robert Nisbitt the new Six O'Clock Entertainment correspondent is doing loads of reports almost every day from film premieres to the reliant robin!
And, on the subject of Fiona Bruce - I'm just having an e-mail conversation with her about how to get into journalism. Two e-mails in three minutes - so that's what they do during the half hour regional break!!
