Fiona Bruce on Steve Wright's Radio 2 show

I guess a lot of people here would be interested in hearing that Steve Wright's guest this afternoon will be Fiona Bruce.

Steve's been talking to his team about the glasses already, and presumably they'll ask her about them.

Radio 2, sometime before 5pm today.



I did put this in the "Glasses!" thread but then decided it was worthy of its own.

By sheer chance I happened to be in the shower at the time so heard it. Was an interesting inteview and Fiona came across as quite friendly. They talked about the Dead Ringers sketches, 20 years of Crimewatch and Huw's holiday plans!

Steve must be quite a fan as he had Huw pop in a month or so ago for an unplanned interview.

Goodness me! I wish my shower could get Radio 2!

She was definitely a good guest, seemed very genuine and down to earth. Steve Wright is one of those DJs who is a true professional radio anorak, and he's a sucker for anything corporate - he'll strive to plug the BBC and all its goodness even if he doesn't have to. Same with Chris Moyles to a certain extent.

LOL I was in the shower when Steve first plugged the interview.
