Fiona Bruce

Just seen the weekend news with Fiona, who is now looking quite pregnant. Does anyone know when she goes on maternity leave, and whos gonna take her place? I'm hopin to see Sian Williams make a return to weekend primtimes, rather than the weekend breakfast grave yard slot.

I heard her maternity leave is going to begin sometime in the next four weeks, but I am not sure of the date.

Perhaps the BBC's latest tactic in the desperate news ratings war with ITV is to set it up so she has to give birth on air?

When I interviewed Fiona she said she was going on maternity leave by November. So expect to see her for about one more month - but of course that may change!!

Sian will be seen more on the Six but I don't think she will be back at the weekend much. I may of course be wrong...!!

It'd be rather amusing if she went into labour on television - would that be a first?

Fiona Bruce pregnant?! This is the first I've heard about it! Fiona's shown no signs of pregnancy recently.

Slightly OT - My sister in law is going to give birth within the next ten weeks, I'm gonna be an auntie for the first time!
