Last night, I caught a glimpse of the trailer for BBC2's "Filth: The Mary Whitehouse Story" (which may be of interest anyway) and the trailer shows an old BBCtv ident on a TV set (the one with the map of Britain I think, but it might have been a globe). Then as the broadcast is stopped we see testcard D.
Just to let you know.

I saw this this morning and saw that the old BBC Television Centre logo. Maybe that's why they had the sign down for a bit a few months ago.

It's the old BBC logo (slanted letters in straight boxes), but not the original one that appeared on TV Centre.

Until the mid 90's there wasn't a BBC logo on the wall, it was just written in the same typeface that everything else at TVC was.

It looked to me like they'd super-imposed the old logo onto the squares, they don't look clear enough to be really on the building

Thanks for that.

Download VLC Player, http://www.videolan.org/vlc

I use MPEG4 H.264 because it's an efficient codec.

That TV showing the test card is overscanning somewhat!
