I'm just wondering if there is a way by which the kids and idiots that frequent this forum can be thrown out and barred, and stopped from creating new accounts. The continuous creation of studid childish threads, idiotic comments and general annoyance has reached boiling point.

Surely a system whereby a MOD has to authorise an account before it is opened could be implemented. I know that old 'kylie minogue' forum had such a system before it became too busy. Perhaps this is too time consuming, whatever, there has to be a way to beat these time wasters - I for one am sick of trawling through the rubbish to get to something decent to read.

With all do respect Newsroom isn't this hyprocritical considering that you're sick of peopling wasting a thread and putting pointless comments and then you yourself create a thread which, all though I happen to agree with the points raised, is also a waste and hardly discussing television presentation which we're all here to do?

I agree.

It's all well and good starting a topic about it. But why are you opening it to the public? What can we do about it apart from moan? Nothing. If you really want to voice your ideas, contact the people who matter personally, (i.e. Asa) instead of wasting forum space (which is ironically what you are saying you hate) by posting a topic about it yourself

Mr-Stabby is right. Why create this sort of thread when I personal message or suggestion to myself would suffice?

I did plan a 'clear out' and a few changes last week but didn't have time in the end - hopefully this week. Not that I want a witch hunt but if anyone does have real concerns over certain members, please contact me in the next couple of days in the usual way and I'll look into whether they should continue to be a member here.
