Films with Heavy Product Placement on the BBC?

How much is too much? (December 2018)

Cars still got shown on the BBC even with the references to car brands in it (such as one of the main characters, Sally, is a Porsche Carrera.)
Fairly sure BBC have shown Cast Away which is basically one big advert for FedEx and Wilson Sports.

The BBC have got the rights to make a UK version of RuPaul's Drag Race, a show that HEAVILY relies on product placement. It will be strange watching it without the constant references to brandnames that litter every episode.

I'd imagine that there would be two edits if it's going to be sold to international markets - one with all the brand acknowledgement, and one suitable for UK broadcast by the BBC.

Yes, that's from a TV show, not a film but the point is this.

It's quite a different point that it's a film because the Fearne McCann programme was made by ITV who are well aware of their responsibilities. Not the case here.
