I quite like that ESPN desk area, but the wooden seating bit looks like it's lifted out of a Nando's or something.

RTÉ announced their coverage details today, but there's not much in the way of surprises there. Apres Match to do the third-place play off again.

Meanwhile this is apparently the official opening titles (its on FIFA's YouTube channels, so I'm presuming its the real deal).. Not sure what to make of it really, you probably won't see it in the UK (except maybe on Eurosport???) but RTÉ will likely use it.

nice animation on the official titles, not sure about the music though, for the satellite hunters out there the world cup test feeds have started but as always encrypted on 7e

The renders aren't exactly top-quality though.

Jim Beglin's back, which is nice to see. All in all RTÉ seem to have a decent package put together. Let's hope it all works.

not to many happy replies i see on that page, its look like the studio is in a prime location with a wonderful view.

Hopefully this years theme music will be as good as theme and opening they used for South Africa. It was quite majestic. (Very Lion King)

We might find out if BBC Sport has any special graphics tonight for the World Cup my guess usual BBC Sport graphics with a slight alteration like the do with the Olympic rings for the Olympics. Also still hoping the BBC has its own graphics feed this time around.

Odd tonight's MOTD special is branded as 'MOTD Live' when the whole point of adding Live to the name is when there is a live match, MOTD is always live so they could call it that anyway . It's being advertised as 'MOTD Live' but the EPG just says 'MOTD: World Cup Preview' so hopefully logic will prevail.

Will hopefully get to see the set too.

RTE are only having two main commentary pairings in Brazil, rest of their commentaries will be offtube, so pretty small scale.

Unless they have a brand new graphics set I'd rather they used the official graphics - and I wouldn't be too surprised now if FIFA has stopped offering clean feeds in order to keep control over the branding.

I'm not expecting much graphic wise from the BBC - might add a bit of green in there I suppose but can't see them doing anything drastic.
