I don't watch the festival of rememberance, but my mum does, and so did my late dad. Which performance, if that is the right word, is the one shown on the BBC, the afternoon or the evening?

the programme listing says that the Queen will be in attendance; and the Royal British Legion website says that the Queen only attends the evening performance - therefore it seems that it's the evening performance, but delayed by an hour or so.

Anyone else's picture jump between a grey screen and the Albert Hall footage towards the end of the programme?

Certainly did on BBC One HD.

... did on Freeview certainly.

(and for future reference it's Remembrance - no e after the b, an error I've been known to make previously and get shouted at for so doing.)

Certainly did on BBC One HD.

Apparently a BT problem, but one unrelated to the earlier power problems at Tower.

Nobody's mentioned Virgin Media yet, have they? It'll have broken up on there too. And TalkTalk TV, if it's still called that this week.

Ah I thought it might have been a problem to do with BT, but wasn't sure if it could be as it's a delayed recording rather than a live programme... but I guess even if it's recorded/delayed they have to get the circuit back to Red Bee somehow!

The whole programme was recorded in the OB truck, and they played it out straight to air.

It could just as easily have been recorded in the Broadcast Centre, but this way round would give them the chance to do some little edits to cut it down to time.

(Similarly, the evening highlights programme of the Cenotaph service was also played out from their OB truck - which, I guess, saves them booking an edit suite in TV Centre or wherever.)
