One of my favourites, that made me laugh when I first saw it, was the BBC One balloon over the Cerne Abbas Giant.
Well, over one part of the Cerne Abbas Giant......

Gédéon, I believe their name is.
But yeah, they're well known for designing numerous identities during the 90s and 00s such as the 1992 and 2002 corporate identities for France Télévisions.

They're still designing stuff for TV today such as the new look for BFM TV that launched recently.
The Disney Channel ones non-US idents (1999/2003) were rather ahead of their time IMO
They were created by a French company
I used to love them back then

For me (admittedly with a little bit of nostalgia influencing the decision) this has to be one of my favourites. A relatively simple, "everyday" ident... but one that instantly grabs your attention and builds to a grand theatrical fanfare. In another life, it could be the start of a Disney film!

Amazon's current "ident" for their Prime programming isn't a bad piece of CGI actually...

My favourite idents are from DR 2 in Denmark from way back in 2009.
These are imo very Danish, very quirky and very surreal but a bit too grotesque for our TV channels here. I do like the whole Rube Goldberg-esque theme for each ident, not to mention the quirky music too.
Although I remember seeing a version of the egg/frying pan ident where the sound effects were different and more violent sounding. That version had gunshot sound effects and a chicken clucking. That version is down below.
Also the last ident in the montage video (video no.1) may contain a bit of nudity as there's a man's butt shown. You've been warned.

That was wasted on 10m viewers in London, it should have been used as the opening ident after 'River 2' so that 60m viewers could see it. Just my opinion of course.
