Favourite ident jingles

What are your favourite station jingles? Most of mine are pre-90's, since then jingles have become weedy and forgettable e.g. ITV 1 tune. I can't even remember it ATM.

1. TV-am 1983
2. TSW 1983
3. Original Channel 4 theme
4. YTV late-60's-1999
5. GMTV 2000-

Also of note are the Channel 4 ITV Schools music and the BBC 2 Neon Lights music which... fin .... ish .... I can't say it.

I like the jingle that goes with the early 80s stripy BBC2 ident, even though I don't ever remember seeing it with the music. Of more recent idents, BBC2 Steam has a superb haunting soundtrack!

My fave (despite I have no memeories of it) is the original channel 4 (1982-1992) music. I can never remember it being used, ic an only remember the 1992-1996 mess. The first time I heard it was in 1999 when I was looking at a video recording from 1991.

Actually that music is still used, albeit only on the local idents.
