Who Is Your Favourite Continuity Announcer?

You can't beat abit of Maggie Mash, one of the best YTV announcers with her soft warm-hearted voice.

Redvers Kyle would be the definitive YTV announcer for me.

Has got to be Matthew Jackson for me everytime. Shame he is under used. Rarely on peak BBC1.

The old Tyne Tees invision announcers were a pretty nice bunch back in the day, Bill Steel, Kathy Secker, Judy Lines and Neville Wanless.

Also used to love Bill Buckley on Channel 5, he sounded like he was having a great time.

I like Gina Mellotte's voice.

Going back to old ITV for us in STV North ( blurggghh! ), in the good old days of Grampian we had :

Kennedy Thomson
Diana Speed
Kay Duncan
Robin Galloway
Arlene Fraser.

Of course SMG killed the continuity stars ( I'm sure there's a song in there somewhere )
